Youth Fit Back Plate for Football

The O. Shield MONEY back plate is designed for youth football players who need core protection for the lower back, kidneys, and spine against rear impacts. It uses a lightweight durable plate with ventilated fiber and foam padding to absorb hits while allowing easy movement. A contoured curve fitting design aims to improve back comfort and add protection during play.

One Size Adult Fit Constraint

The product is listed with a single Adult One Size Fits All specification, which creates a practical limit for youth athletes with smaller or larger frames. The plate anchors to most adult shoulder pads using the included hardware kit, so compatibility depends on the existing pad design rather than an adjustable sizing system. Buyers needing a specific youth sizing scale or a tailored fit for non-standard shoulder pads cannot be accommodated by this model.

Rear Impact Protection Focus

The sole protective purpose stated is guarding the lower back, kidneys, and spine from impacts coming from behind. It does not address frontal torso, rib, or shoulder protection, so players requiring full upper-body coverage or position-specific padding for linemen must look elsewhere. The ventilated foam and contoured plate define the protective capability offered.
