  • Simple pump and valve allow quick inflation and deflation
  • Engineered S-shape conforms to natural spinal curvatures
  • Lightweight portable design turns any chair into ergonomic seating

What the backrest is and who uses it

The Obus Forme CustomAIR backrest is an ergonomic support designed for office workers, drivers and home users who sit for long periods. Its contoured shape follows the thoracic-to-lumbar spine to encourage a neutral posture. Lightweight construction makes it easy to move between a desk chair, car seat or any other seating surface. Buyers who need a fixed-height lumbar roll or a full chair replacement will not find those functions here.

How it fits into a seating setup

The unit rests against the existing backrest and stays in place without straps or fasteners. An integrated air chamber inflates by hand pump to fill the lumbar curve, then deflates through a valve when a flatter profile is preferred. The pump tucks into a built-in pocket so nothing dangles during use. No power, tools or permanent modification of the chair are required. Builders who want a height-adjustable frame or a heated element will not find those features in this model.

Thermals noise and power draw in normal use

No electrical components are present, so the backrest produces no heat, no fan noise and draws no power. The foam core and fabric cover remain at ambient temperature during extended sitting sessions. Inflation adjustments are silent and manual. Users who expect active cooling, vibration massage or powered lumbar motion will not get those capabilities from this product.
