Industrial Floor Fan with Halogen Heat

The Optimus Enterprise Inc F-4202 is a 20" floor fan that integrates a single halogen tube offering three heat settings at 500, 1000 and 1500W. It targets workshops, garages or covered outdoor areas where both high-velocity airflow and supplemental warmth are required from one unit. Buyers needing pure cooling without any heating function should consider a standard fan instead.

Aluminium Housing and IP34 Splash Protection

An aluminium housing provides structural rigidity and resistance to corrosion in damp environments. The IP34 rating confirms protection against splashing water, making the unit suitable for covered patios or dusty job sites. A 70.8" power cord and 12.7" suspension chain allow flexible floor placement or overhead mounting without permanent wiring.

Three-Speed Airflow and Silent Heating

Three speed settings let users match airflow to the task, from gentle circulation to maximum velocity. The halogen tube operates silently, delivering radiant warmth that is not dispersed by the fan blades when heat is desired alone. Power draw scales with the selected heat level, so the highest setting consumes significantly more electricity than fan-only operation.

Questions about this item

What does the IP34 rating on this Optimus F-4202 floor fan cover in practice?

The IP34 rating means the fan is protected against solid objects larger than 1 mm and water splashing from any direction, so it can be used in damp or outdoor areas.

What are the physical mounting requirements for the Optimus F-4202 with its 20-inch blades?

This floor fan sits on a stable flat surface; it also includes a 12.7-inch suspension chain for optional overhead hanging if a secure anchor point is available.

How is the Optimus F-4202 installed and what step do people often miss?

Place the fan on a level floor or hang it using the 12.7-inch chain, plug the 70.8-inch cord into a grounded outlet, then select one of the three speed settings; the step often missed is ensuring the hanging point can support the full weight before suspending the unit.
