This OREI BK-102A duplicates one HDMI source to two displays while extracting audio through optical or analog outputs. It supports resolutions up to 8K and 4K at 120Hz with HDR, Dolby Vision and HDCP 2.3 pass-through. The unit works with PS5, Xbox, streaming devices and cable boxes without downscaling the signal.

Upgrade from basic splitters without audio breakout

Use this when you need to send the same 4K or 8K picture to two screens and feed a separate soundbar or AV receiver that lacks HDMI inputs. The jump is worth it if your current splitter forces audio to stay embedded in the HDMI stream or cannot pass HDCP 2.3 content. It will not help buyers who need downscaling for mismatched displays or e-ARC support for Sonos soundbars.

Plug-and-play with included power supply

Connect the source to the single HDMI input and two displays to the outputs, then link the optical or 3.5 mm jack to your audio system. A 24 V US power adapter and international converter are supplied. The main installation issue is forgetting that both outputs must support the source resolution because the splitter does not downscale. EDID management is automatic but may need a power cycle if a display fails to handshake.
