Thunderbolt 4 cable for 40 Gbps workflows

This 0.98 ft Intel-certified Thunderbolt 4 cable delivers 40 Gbps data transfer and supports 100 W charging. It handles a single 8K display at 60 Hz or dual 4K video streams. The grey TBZ model connects USB-C MacBooks, iPad Pro tablets and Thunderbolt 3 or 4 docks.

Plug-and-play with certified reliability

Installation is a simple USB-C to USB-C connection that requires no drivers. The Intel certification guarantees full Thunderbolt 4 compliance, so the link negotiates 40 Gbps automatically. Problems only arise if either port lacks Thunderbolt or USB 3.1 support, which drops the link to lower speeds.

Verify Thunderbolt ports before ordering

Check that your host and peripheral both expose Thunderbolt 3 or 4 over USB-C. The cable works with listed MacBook Pro 13.3 and 15.4 models from 2016 to 2020, MacBook Air 2018 to 2020, iPad Pro 2018 to 2020 and select Lenovo, Dell, HP, Acer, Samsung, Google, LG, OnePlus and Microsoft devices. Non-Thunderbolt USB-C ports will not provide 40 Gbps or 8K video.
