Compatible Alienware Laptops

This heatsink cover fits Dell Alienware M15 R3, M15 R4, M17 R3 and M17 R4 models released in 2020 and 2021. It replaces the original thermal shield for the secondary storage slot. The part matches alternate numbers RT4G1, 0RT4G1, ET2VR000300 and FD051_SSD 2280.

Builders Adding a Second Drive

The bracket is designed for owners who want to install an additional 2280 solid-state drive in the second M.2 slot. It does not support other form factors such as 2230 or 22110 modules. Buyers whose laptop lacks the secondary slot or who need a primary-drive heatsink should look elsewhere.

Included Mounting Screw

Each pack supplies one heatsink cover and a single mounting screw for immediate installation. No thermal pads, additional hardware or software utilities are bundled. The screw secures the drive to the motherboard while the metal shield draws heat away from the controller.
