ORVIX M.2 SSD Heatsink Cover 1X2MT Dell Latitude 5570 5470 5270 7270 Precision 3510

What This Part Does

The ORVIX M.2 SSD heatsink cover attaches to compatible Dell Latitude and Precision 15 3510 laptops. It provides the thermal plate and mounting screw needed to install a single M.2 PCIe SSD card into the designated slot. The part numbers are 1X2MT and 01X2MT.

Who It Fits

This bracket suits owners of Dell Latitude E5570, E5470, E5270 or E7270 models and Precision 15 3510 (M3510) units who want to add M.2 storage. Builders working on other Dell series or non-Dell hardware should look elsewhere because the mounting points and thermal interface are model-specific.

Heat Handling

The metal plate acts as a heat spreader for the installed SSD during sustained read and write activity. It conducts warmth away from the controller and NAND into the laptop chassis. Without this cover the drive would throttle earlier under continuous load.
