All-Weather 8-Inch Patio Speakers

The OSD Audio AP840 is a pair of outdoor-rated speakers built for patios, decks and pool areas. Each cabinet uses an ABS polymer enclosure with a powder-coated aluminium grille rated IP54. A built-in sound port extends low-frequency response down to 30 Hz while the system reaches 22 kHz. Gold-plated spring compression binding posts ensure a secure 8-ohm connection.

Wired Upgrade From Portable Units

These speakers replace battery-powered or Bluetooth-only units that lack weather protection and sustained output. The jump is worth it when you need continuous mains-driven sound across a large covered area without recharging or signal drop-outs. Included U-brackets allow vertical or horizontal mounting under eaves or on posts for optimal dispersion.

Buyers With Covered Outdoor Zones

The pair suits homeowners who can run speaker cable to a sheltered patio and want permanent, year-round audio. Buyers who need wireless streaming, battery operation or fully exposed installation without a roof should look at alternative designs. The hardware supports up to 200 watts peak power handling for dynamic playback.
