A 64GB DDR5 4800 ECC registered RDIMM validated for PowerEdge R760xa, R860 and R960 servers
Capacity 64GB
This 64GB DDR5 4800 ECC Registered RDIMM is built for Dell PowerEdge R760xa, R860 and R960 servers. It delivers 64GB of error-correcting memory in a single 288-pin module running at 1.1V. The registered design adds stability for multi-DIMM configurations in enterprise workloads.
This module directly replaces Dell part numbers AC239379 and SNPJ52K5C/64G. The upgrade is worthwhile when expanding memory capacity for virtualisation, database or compute-intensive tasks on the supported PowerEdge platforms. It cannot be mixed with unbuffered or load-reduced ECC memory, so homogeneous population is required.
The 64GB density provides substantial headroom for large datasets and high VM counts per socket. CL40 latency at 4800 MT/s supports throughput demands of DDR5-4800 server platforms. Workloads exceeding per-module capacity or requiring mixed memory types will need a different configuration.

Other versions of this model
Yes, the 288-pin form factor matches the DDR5 RDIMM slots used in those PowerEdge servers.
Populate slots according to the server's memory-channel guide, installing identical 2Rx4 modules per channel; the common error is mixing registered and unbuffered DIMMs.
ECC will correct single-bit errors, but a rising correctable-error count in the system log signals the module should be swapped before uncorrectable errors occur.
