What you get

This pack contains six letter-size plastic folders, each with two pockets. They are designed for students, teachers and home-office users who want a simple way to separate subjects or projects by colour. The assorted colours — red, blue, orange, green, purple and yellow — make colour-coding immediate.

Replacing paper folders

Unlike thin card folders that tear after a few weeks, these poly folders resist rips and moisture for all-year use. The upgrade is worth it when you need pockets that expand to hold up to 100 sheets total, 50 per pocket, and a die-cut business-card slot on the front cover.

Practical limits

Each folder measures 11.6 by 9.5 inches and is only half an inch thick, so shelf space stays minimal. The plastic construction adds just .25 pounds per pack, but the pockets are not designed for bulky binders or heavy reference books. They suit loose pages and odd-sized notes, not archival storage.

Questions about this item

What are the overall dimensions of each 15187 folder so I can check shelf fit?

Each folder measures 11.6 inches long by 9.5 inches wide by 1 inch high, matching standard letter-size storage.

How do I load the pockets without overfilling them, and what is the common mistake?

Insert up to 50 sheets per pocket for a total of 100 sheets; the common mistake is exceeding 50 sheets in one pocket, which stresses the poly material.

When will the assorted-color poly folders need replacing under normal school use?

The rip- and moisture-resistant plastic is built for all-year wear; replace individual folders only if a pocket tears or the business-card holder cracks.
