Classroom-Grade Heavyweight Paper

Pacon 103002 Tru-Ray Construction Paper is a 76 lb sulphite sheet designed for teachers, students and crafters who need consistent colour and strength. The 100% vat-dyed process keeps the orange hue vivid through folding, cutting and repeated handling.

Upgrade From Lightweight Newsprint

Standard lightweight construction paper tears easily when wet media or heavy scoring are used. This 76 lb stock resists buckling with tempera, glue or layered collage work, making the jump worthwhile whenever projects move beyond simple cut-and-paste.

Fifty-Sheet Pack Capacity

A 50-sheet pack covers a typical class project or a week of daily art rotation without reorder. The 9 x 12 inch format fits standard storage trays and display boards, while the heavyweight fibres reach their limit with prolonged soaking or structural load-bearing models.

Questions about this item

What are the exact sheet dimensions of the 9 x 12 pack?

Each sheet measures 12 inches in width and 9 inches in length, matching the 9 x 12 designation.

How should I store the 76 lb sulphite sheets to prevent curling?

Keep the pack flat in a dry area; the heavyweight 100% vat-dyed sulphite resists moisture but will curl if stored upright or damp.

Will the orange colour fade if displayed on a classroom wall for months?

The 100% vat-dyed sulphite construction means colour runs through the full 76 lb sheet, so it resists fading far longer than surface-coated paper.
