Classroom Kraft Paper Roll

Pacon 63170 is a lightweight arts and crafts paper supplied on a single roll measuring 36 inches wide by 1000 feet long. It is intended for teachers, students and hobbyists who need a continuous sheet for large-scale drawing, painting or display work.

Duo-Finish Surface Utility

One side of the paper is smooth, making it suitable for felt pens, finger painting and fine line drawing. The reverse side has a toothy texture that accepts chalk, tempera, watercolor and acrylics without bleeding through, allowing two different media approaches on the same roll.

Build and Handling

The 35 lb kraft stock is durable enough to resist tearing during unrolling and mounting yet light enough to tape to walls or easels without sagging. Bright Blue colour provides high visibility for murals, banners and bulletin-board backdrops in classrooms or studio spaces.

Questions about this item

How often will the 36-inch wide roll need to be replaced during daily classroom use?

The 1000-foot length provides extended coverage for ongoing projects; replacement frequency depends on how much of the 36-inch width is consumed per session.

What surface limitation appears first when using wet media continuously on the smooth side?

The smooth side handles felt pens and finger paint well, but prolonged saturation from watercolor or tempera may cause the lightweight 35-lb sheet to buckle or tear.

Does the roll generate dust or odor when unrolled for all-day art sessions?

The kraft construction is designed for clean classroom use; no dust or odor is associated with normal unrolling and handling of the Bright Blue paper.
