Four 18-Inch SATA Cables
This four-pack supplies 18-inch SATA III cables with 90-degree right-angle connectors. They link a motherboard or host controller to internal hard drives, solid-state drives or optical drives. The male-to-male design includes a locking latch on each end for a secure fit. Power is not delivered through these cables.
6 Gbps Interface Limit
The SATA III interface tops out at 6 Gbps, so sustained throughput cannot exceed that ceiling. Performance scales down automatically when connected to SATA II or SATA I ports. Electromagnetic shielding and tinned copper conductors keep the signal stable at the rated speed. No protocol beyond SATA is supported.
Right-Angle Connector Fit
The 90-degree plug orientation decides whether the cable routes cleanly in tight drive bays or against a case wall. Builders needing straight connectors for open layouts should choose a different style. The right-angle shape is fixed and cannot be rotated after installation.

Questions about this item
Should I choose the four-pack or look for single cables?
The four-pack gives you four 18-inch cables with 90-degree right-angle connectors so you can wire multiple drives at once without buying extras.
What does the 6Gbps rating mean when the cable is installed?
It supports the SATA III maximum of 6Gbps, so a modern SSD or hard drive can run at its full interface speed instead of being limited to the older 3Gbps ceiling.
Does the SATA interface limit anything in practice?
The SATA III interface caps the link at 6Gbps and the cable is backward compatible with SATA I and SATA II, so the drive will negotiate the highest speed both ends support.
