It runs Windows 7 Professional 32-bit and includes 4G LTE mobile broadband, GPS, a digitiser pen and power adapter. The sunlight-viewable XGA LED touchscreen delivers 1024 x 768 resolution.

Field workers needing sealed all-weather operation

The IP65 and MIL-STD-810G certified magnesium alloy chassis suits mobile professionals who work outdoors in direct sun or wet conditions. Integrated 4G LTE, 802.11a/b/g/n Wi-Fi and Bluetooth 4.0 keep data flowing on site. Buyers who need solid-state storage, a second USB port or an internal optical drive should look at alternative configurations.

32-bit Windows 7 Professional on a single-core

The operating system is the 32-bit edition of Windows 7 Professional paired with a single-core 1.90GHz Intel Core i5 processor. This combination determines which applications can be installed and how many tasks run concurrently. Verify that your software licenses and workload are compatible with this platform before purchase.

Questions about this item

Do I need a Windows 7 Pro 32-bit license key to activate the operating system?

The unit ships with Windows 7 Professional 32-bit pre-installed; activation uses the included license so no separate key is required.

Will the single USB port and 802.11a/b/g/n WLAN work with my existing 10/100/1000Mbps wired dock and 802.11g router?

Yes — the USB port and Gigabit LAN are backward-compatible with older USB and 10/100 Ethernet gear, and the 802.11a/b/g/n radio connects to 802.11g networks.

How can I verify the 4G LTE modem and GPS receiver are functioning after first boot?

Open the mobile-broadband utility to confirm a 4G LTE connection, then launch a mapping application to check that the GPS receiver acquires a position fix.
