14-inch FHD Touch Ultrabook

This Lenovo ThinkPad T480 or T490 is a 14.0-inch ultrabook with a 1920 x 1080 IPS touchscreen, an 8th Gen Intel Core i7-8550U quad-core processor, 8 GB DDR4 memory and a 256 GB SSD. It ships with Windows 11 Pro pre-installed and includes an OEM AC adapter. The chassis offers three USB 3.1 ports, one USB-C port, HDMI, RJ-45 Ethernet, Wi-Fi and Bluetooth 4.1 connectivity.

Business users needing touch input

The touchscreen and portable 14-inch form factor suit mobile professionals who annotate documents or present on the move. Buyers who want more storage than 256 GB or who require discrete graphics for heavy rendering should look at other configurations. Units may be either a T480 or T490 depending on stock, so exact port layout and weight can vary.

256 GB SSD capacity

The installed solid-state drive provides 256 GB of space for the operating system, applications and active project files. If your workflow demands a larger local library or multiple virtual machines, the capacity may become a limiting factor.
