Panasonic FZ-M1 rugged tablet

The Panasonic FZ-M1 is a fully rugged 7-inch Windows 10 Pro tablet designed for mobile workers in demanding field environments. It runs on a 1.60GHz dual-core Intel Core i5 processor with 8GB DDR3L memory and a 2TB SSD. The daylight-readable multi-touch display works with heavy gloves and includes a stylus pen for precise input.

Check docking and peripheral needs

This unit provides one USB port, one docking connector, a microphone jack and a headphone jack. Wireless connectivity uses 802.11a/b/g/n Wi-Fi and Bluetooth 4.2. Verify that your existing docks, barcode scanners or RFID accessories match the single docking interface before ordering.

Sustained field operation

The user-replaceable battery supports long shifts without mains power. The rugged chassis is built to withstand drops, vibration and extreme temperatures while the fanless design runs silently. Thermal throttling may reduce the 1.6GHz clock during prolonged heavy workloads to protect internal components.

Should I choose the 2 TB SSD with 8 GB DDR3L 1600 memory or a smaller capacity for this FZ-M1?
