7-inch rugged tablet for mobile workers

The Panasonic Toughpad FZ-M1 is a fully rugged Windows 10 Pro tablet built for mission-critical field use. Its daylight-readable 7-inch multi-touch display operates with heavy gloves. A user-replaceable battery supports long shifts away from power outlets. Integrated 4G LTE multi-carrier broadband keeps remote teams connected.

Sustained performance with fanless i5

The 1.60GHz dual-core i5 (4th Gen) runs passively cooled inside a sealed chassis. DDR3L 1600 memory and a 2TB SSD deliver consistent throughput without thermal throttling. The fanless design eliminates moving parts that fail in dust or vibration. Workloads stay stable across temperature extremes typical of outdoor deployments.

Connectivity limits of the included interfaces

Wireless LAN uses 802.11a/b/g/n and Bluetooth 4.2 for peripheral links. A single USB port and one docking connector restrict simultaneous wired accessories. The micro-SIM slot enables 4G LTE but offers no 5G fallback. Builders needing multiple USB devices or faster Wi-Fi standards must add a dock or hub.
