Compact full-frame mirrorless camera

The Panasonic LUMIX S9 is a compact full-frame mirrorless camera designed for content creators who prioritise portability and professional image quality. It includes the Lumix S 20-60mm f/3.5-5.6 lens for versatile wide-to-standard focal lengths. The body features REAL TIME LUT for in-camera colour grading and Phase Hybrid autofocus for reliable subject tracking. It suits social media workflows with direct smartphone sharing via the LUMIX Lab app.

20-60mm zoom range and variable aperture

The included lens covers a 20-60mm focal range with a maximum aperture of f/3.5 at the wide end and f/5.6 at the telephoto end. This range handles landscapes, environmental portraits and everyday snapshots comfortably. Low-light performance at the long end is limited by the narrower f/5.6 aperture, requiring higher ISO or slower shutter speeds. The lens lacks the constant wide aperture needed for shallow depth-of-field control throughout the zoom.

Dust and splash resistant lens with stabilisation

The lens features a rugged dust and splash-resistant construction with a fluorine coating that repels water and oil for durability in harsh conditions. Powerful in-body image stabilisation works with the lens to suppress camera shake during handheld shooting. The compact body packs professional-grade features without the bulk of larger full-frame systems. Extended video recording or continuous high-speed shooting may increase body temperature during prolonged use.
