Purpose-built rugged convertible

The Panasonic Toughbook CF-19 is a fully rugged convertible laptop with a 10.1-inch touchscreen that swivels into tablet mode. It targets field workers, emergency responders and mobile professionals who need a device certified to MIL-STD-810G, MIL-STD-461F and IP65 for drops, vibration, dust and water resistance. The magnesium alloy chassis survives a six-foot drop while weighing roughly five pounds.

Single-core 2.6 GHz processor

The decisive specification is the single-core Intel Core i5 running at 2.60 GHz paired with 4 GB of DDR3 800 memory in a 2 GB x 2 configuration. This architecture suits legacy Windows 10 Pro 32/64-bit applications and lightweight data entry but cannot handle modern multi-threaded workloads or heavy multitasking. Buyers needing multiple cores or higher memory bandwidth should look elsewhere.

Integrated connectivity and bundled accessories

Verizon 4G LTE mobile broadband and a built-in GPS receiver provide always-on location and data in the field without external dongles. The included digitiser pen enables precise input on the 1024 x 768 XGA sunlight-viewable LED panel rated up to 6000 nit. A power adapter is also supplied so the unit is ready to deploy immediately.
