Rugged 2-in-1 with detachable tablet

The Panasonic Toughbook CF-20 is a fully rugged Windows 10 Pro laptop that separates into a 10.1-inch tablet. It runs on an Intel Core m5-6Y57 processor at 1.1 GHz with 16 GB of memory and a 2 TB SSD. The magnesium alloy chassis meets MIL-STD-810G and IP65 standards for drops, dust and water resistance. A built-in handle doubles as a kickstand for flexible positioning.

Field workers needing one-handed detachment

This device suits mobile professionals who require a lightweight 3.9-pound system that converts to a tablet with one hand. The digitizer pen supports gloved multi-touch input on the 1920 x 1200 IPS display. Buyers who need higher processing performance for intensive workloads or a larger screen for desktop use should consider other form factors. The single-core processor and integrated graphics limit heavy multitasking.

Pen and adapter enable immediate deployment

The included digitizer pen allows precise input for signatures, annotations and data entry in wet or gloved conditions. The supplied power adapter ensures the unit can be charged and operated straight from the box. Windows 10 Pro is pre-installed with electronic manuals available online. No paper documentation or optical drive is provided.

Questions about this item

What operating system must already be licensed on the device for the included Windows 10 Pro to activate?

The Toughbook CF-20 ships with Windows 10 Pro pre-installed, so no separate licence is required; the OS activates automatically on first boot.

Will the Intel HD Graphics 515 drive an external 1920 x 1200 monitor over the built-in video output?

Yes, the integrated Intel HD Graphics 515 supports external displays up to 1920 x 1200 through the available video port.

How can I confirm the digitizer pen is communicating with the 10.1-inch WUXGA touchscreen after setup?

Open the Windows Ink Workspace; if the pen cursor appears and pressure-sensitive strokes register on the 1920 x 1200 display, the digitizer is working correctly.
