Questions about this item

Will the 2.3 GHz Core i5-5300U throttle under long workloads?

The processor runs at 2.3 GHz with Intel HD Graphics 5500; sustained loads are managed within the MIL-STD-810G thermal envelope.

How loud and hot does the CF-54 get during all-day use?

Fan noise stays low in typical office tasks; the chassis meets IP65 and MIL-STD-810G so heat is dissipated without excessive acoustic output.

What must I already own to use the GPS, smartcard and fingerprint features?

Windows 10 Pro is pre-installed; drivers for the GPS receiver, smartcard reader and fingerprint reader are included, so no extra hardware is required.
