Rugged 14-inch laptop for field work

The Panasonic Toughbook CF-54 is a semi-rugged notebook built to MIL-STD-810G, MIL-STD-461F and IP65 standards. It runs Windows 10 Pro on an Intel Core i5-5300U processor at 2.3 GHz with 16 GB of memory and a 1 TB SSD. Integrated 4G LTE, GPS, a smartcard reader and a fingerprint reader support mobile professionals. A digitizer pen and power adapter are included.

Check your workflow needs before ordering

The 14.0 inch display is non-touch with a 1366 x 768 HD resolution. Memory is fixed at 16 GB with no expansion headroom. Wireless connectivity uses 802.11a/b/g/n and Bluetooth 4.1. Four USB ports provide peripheral connections. Buyers who need a higher resolution screen, a touchscreen, or upgradeable memory should consider other options.

Thermals noise and power in normal use

The low-power U-series processor and integrated Intel HD Graphics 5500 generate modest heat during typical office tasks. Fan activity remains quiet under light loads such as document editing or web browsing. The included power adapter supplies sufficient energy for the system and battery charging. No discrete graphics means lower sustained power draw compared to heavier mobile workstations.
