Questions about this item

What thermal or power limit does the Core i5-1145G7 hit first during sustained heavy workloads?

The quad-core processor runs at a 2.60 GHz base frequency with Turbo Boost up to 4.40 GHz; sustained loads will be constrained by the 14-inch chassis cooling capacity and the CPU's 28 W typical power envelope.

How loud and hot does the FZ-55 get when running all day under typical office workloads?

The fanless rugged design relies on passive heatsinks; under normal Windows 11 Pro office use the system stays near ambient temperature and produces no audible fan noise.

Which dock or port replicator do I need already to connect dual external monitors to this Toughbook?

The laptop provides one HDMI output and one USB-C port with DisplayPort alt-mode; a compatible USB-C dock or HDMI splitter is required for two external displays.
