Shipping-ready poly bags

These flat poly bags measure 5 by 28 inches and come in a 1000-count pack. The 4-mil clear film is suited for mailing operations that need a lightweight, transparent sleeve. They arrive new and ready for high-volume dispatch.

Quantity and warning labels

Each carton delivers 1000 individual bags so fulfilment lines can load bulk orders without frequent replenishment. California Proposition 65 notices accompany the shipment, flagging chemicals linked to cancer and reproductive harm. No additional software or accessories are included.

Capacity limits and fit

The 28-inch length accommodates long, narrow items such as rolled posters or tubing, while the 5-inch width restricts use to slim profiles. Heavier or sharp-edged contents may exceed the 4-mil thickness, risking tears during transit. Buyers needing wider or heavier-duty bags should consider other specifications.

Questions about this item

Will the 4 mil thickness hold up if I reuse the same PB1096 bag multiple times?

The 4 mil polyethylene is designed for single-use shipping; repeated handling can stretch or tear the material, so plan on a fresh bag for each shipment.

What fails first when I pack heavy items into these 5 by 28 inch bags day after day?

The bottom seal and side seams reach their load limit before the film itself, so avoid overfilling if you need the bag to stay intact.

Do the clear PB1096 bags give off any smell or heat when stored in a warm warehouse all day?

The polyethylene film is inert at normal warehouse temperatures and produces no noticeable odour or heat during long-term storage.
