Economy tape for high-volume sealing

This economy-grade tape comes in a six-roll pack, each roll measuring 2 inches wide by 1000 yards long. The 1.6 mil thickness provides reliable adhesion for standard cartons in busy mailrooms. It is suited for operations that seal many boxes each day and need a cost-effective supply.

Hot-melt adhesive on clear film

The clear hot-melt formulation bonds quickly to corrugated surfaces without the noise of traditional acrylic tapes. Six rolls per case reduce the frequency of reordering and keep dispensing stations stocked. The film stays transparent so shipping labels and barcodes remain readable after application.

Replaces lighter general-purpose tapes

Users moving up from thinner utility tapes will notice fewer split seams on heavier parcels. The upgrade makes sense when package weight or transit distance exceeds what a 1.4 mil film can reliably hold. It is not intended for extreme cold storage or specialised security sealing.

Questions about this item

What adhesive standard does the 1.6 mil #600 tape meet for carton sealing?

The tape uses a hot-melt adhesive formulated for general-purpose carton sealing on recycled and new corrugated boxes.

What dispenser core size fits the 2-inch wide rolls in this pack?

Each roll has a standard 3-inch core, so it fits any hand-held or bench dispenser made for 2-inch wide tape on a 3-inch core.

How do you apply the tape so the hot-melt adhesive bonds correctly?

Unroll, press firmly along the full length with a squeegee or hand pressure to activate the adhesive; skipping firm pressure is the most common mistake.
