Shipping Envelopes for High-Volume Mailing

These 12 x 15.5 inch tan kraft envelopes arrive in a box of 500 for bulk shipping operations. The open-end catalog style suits documents, catalogues and flat merchandise. SFI certified paper with a vellum finish provides a professional feel. Self-sealing latex flaps close without moisture or tape.

Capacity and Weight Limits

Each envelope uses 28 lb paper stock rated for standard catalogues and document stacks. The centre seam construction distributes stress across the width. A full box weighs 35.5 lbs, so plan storage shelf capacity accordingly. Heavier rigid items or thick bundles may exceed the paper strength.

Build Integration and Workflow

The extended flaps with Pres-Stik adhesive speed up packing lines by removing the need for separate sealers. No window means address labels adhere directly to the vellum surface. Boxes ship flat to save warehouse space before use. Buyers needing padded protection or waterproof mailers should choose a different product type.

Questions about this item

Will the 12 x 15.5 inch envelopes fit my existing 12 x 15 inch documents without folding?

Yes, the 12 by 15.5 inch open-end size provides a half-inch margin so 12 by 15 inch pages slide in flat.

How can I confirm the self-seal adhesive is activating properly after I press the flap?

The latex Pres-Stik strips on the extended flap bond on contact; a firm press creates an immediate seal you can feel and hear.

Does the box of 500 include any moisture-resistant liners or do I need to buy them separately?

The carton contains 500 plain Kraft envelopes only; no liners or extra supplies are included.
