Partners Brand PSH260 Strapping

This hand-grade polypropylene strapping comes in a 1/2 inch by 7200 foot roll. It is designed for shipping and packing tasks that require reliable bundling strength. The embossed surface helps improve grip during tensioning. It suits warehouse staff and small-business shippers who secure cartons or pallets daily.

Thermals noise and power draw

As a passive consumable material, this strapping produces no heat, noise or electrical draw during use. Performance depends on the tensioning tool and seal type selected by the operator. There are no moving parts or powered components to maintain. Environmental conditions such as temperature or humidity do not affect its basic function.

Build quality and connectors

The embossed polypropylene construction resists splitting and provides consistent feed through hand tools. Each roll delivers 7200 feet of continuous length for high-volume applications. No specialised mounting hardware is required beyond standard strapping seals and a tensioner. The product ships directly from the manufacturer as a new item listed in February 2025.

Questions about this item

How do I load the 1/2-inch strapping onto a hand tool and what step is often missed?

Thread the strap through the tensioner’s feed wheel, then the sealer’s jaws, making sure the embossed side faces the grip surface so the seal bites; skipping the orientation check causes the joint to slip.

When will the 7200-foot roll need replacing and what signals it?

Replace the roll when the remaining length no longer spans your largest load; the embossed texture flattens with age, reducing friction, so a roll that feeds smoothly but won’t hold tension is the first sign.

What limit appears first during continuous strapping of heavy pallets?

The 1/2-inch polypropylene reaches its elongation limit before the roll ends; sustained tension on dense loads stretches the strap past recovery, so the joint fails while footage remains.
