Compatible 12V Ceramic Igniter

The Pellethead P-1271 is a 12V ceramic pellet grill igniter built as a genuine Green Mountain Grills OEM replacement. It fits Daniel Boone, Ledge 12V PRIME, Jim Bowie and Peak 12V PRIME models. Assembly is required before use.

12V Electrical Interface

The igniter operates on a 12V supply, so it only works with grills wired for that voltage. It draws power directly from the grill controller; no external adapter is included. Using it on a different voltage system will prevent ignition.

Single-Burner Pellet Start

One ceramic element lights a single burner tray of wood pellets. The 0.06 kg part reaches ignition temperature quickly for normal start-up cycles. It is not designed for multi-burner configurations or continuous high-duty operation beyond standard grill lighting.

Questions about this item

Which Pellethead igniter version suits my grill model?

This P-1271 ceramic igniter is the direct replacement for Green Mountain Grills Daniel Boone, Ledge 12V PRIME, Jim Bowie and Peak 12V PRIME models.

What does the 12 V rating mean when the igniter is installed?

It draws power from the grill's 12 V PRIME controller to heat the ceramic element and light the pellets.

How does the connector interface limit what the igniter can do?

The plug fits only the 12 V PRIME controller socket, so it cannot be used on grills with a different wiring harness.
