4 Inch Clear Hanging Tabs

This pack supplies 100 transparent tabs sized at 4 inch for use with 3.5 inch hanging file folders. The clear polypropylene finish lets printed inserts show through without glare. Each tab includes a white cardboard insert for handwritten or printed labels. The set is designed for office or home filing systems that rely on standard hanging rails.

Replaces Worn Or Missing Tabs

Use these when existing tabs have cracked, yellowed or lost their inserts. The jump is worth it if you are reorganising a drawer and need a uniform look across every folder. They also suit new hanging folders that ship without tabs. Buyers who need coloured tabs or pre-printed labels will not find them here.

Check Folder Rail Width First

Confirm that your hanging folders accept a 4 inch tab and that the rail spacing matches the 3.5 inch label area. The tabs slide into the top slot of standard hanging folders; they do not adhere to flat surfaces. Ensure you have a printer or pen ready for the white inserts before ordering.

Questions about this item

Will these 4-inch clear tabs fit my existing 3.5-inch hanging file folders?

Yes, the 4-inch tabs are designed specifically for 3.5-inch hanging file folders, matching the standard folder width.

How do I insert the white cardboard inserts into the clear plastic tabs without bending them?
