Pendaflex 8-Pocket Expanding File Folder

The Pendaflex 8-pocket expanding file folder organizes letter and A4 documents for students, professionals and home users. Eight separate pockets and 16 sticky index tabs create a clear categorisation system for notes, receipts, tax files and projects. The snap-tab closure keeps contents secure while allowing quick access during daily use.

Thermals noise and power draw

This passive organiser has no electronics, fans or power requirements, so it produces zero noise and draws no power in any environment. The waterproof polypropylene material resists tears and spills without generating heat. Weighing only 6 oz, it adds negligible thermal mass to a backpack or desk.

Build fit and what it frees up

The folder measures 12.8 L x 9.8 W x .6 H inches and holds up to 200 sheets, sliding easily into backpacks or briefcases. Its slim profile frees up desk space by consolidating loose papers into a single portable unit. Buyers who need more than eight pockets or a rigid binder structure should consider other solutions.

Questions about this item

How do I set up the 8 pockets with the 16 sticky index tabs so documents stay sorted?

Peel each tab and press it onto the pocket divider you want labelled; the adhesive holds on the polypropylene surface so the 8 sections stay identified.

Will the snap closure or the PP material wear out first if I carry it daily in a backpack?

The snap tab is a single plastic piece that can fatigue after repeated opening, while the waterproof PP body resists tears and spills far longer.

At what sheet count does the folder stop closing flat when I fill it with standard paper?

The folder holds up to 200 sheets; beyond that the 0.6 inch expansion is exceeded and the snap will not latch securely.
