Expanding Kraft File with Monthly Index

The Pendaflex expanding file organises documents by month using preprinted Jan.-Dec. dividers. Double-thick front and back panels resist wear from frequent handling. Reinforced gusset tops with rip-proof tape prevent tearing at stress points. An elastic cord closure keeps the flap secure during transport.

Replaces Loose Folders or Basic Wallets

This file replaces loose monthly folders or single-pocket wallets that let papers slip out. The jump is worth it when you need a single, self-contained unit that holds a full year of letter-size documents without overflow. It is not for buyers who want more storage than twelve monthly sections provide.

Fits Letter-Size Filing Systems

The 12.63 L x 7.88 W x 10.63 H inch footprint fits standard letter-size drawers and shelves. Cardboard construction with a polypropylene finish keeps the file light at 0.22 pounds while protecting contents from moisture. It frees up drawer space by consolidating twelve separate folders into one expandable wallet.

Questions about this item

How deep is the shelf or drawer needed to hold the 12.63 inch long expanding file?

The file measures 12.63 inches in length, so the storage space must be at least that deep to accommodate it fully.

How do I load documents into the preprinted monthly dividers without tearing the reinforced gusset tops?

Insert papers straight into each divider pocket rather than forcing them over the top edge; the rip-proof tape on the gussets resists tearing when sheets are fed in smoothly.

When should I replace the elastic cord closure if it loses tension?

Replace the cord when it no longer pulls the flap snug against the double-thick panels, allowing contents to shift or the cover to pop open during handling.
