Reinforced 10.5-Point Stock

These Pendaflex file folders use 10.5-point paper stock with 114# basis weight for reinforced durability. The wallet-style design holds standard 8.5 x 11 inch letter documents and protects up to 20 sheets per folder. Assorted colors enable a color-coded filing system for office, home, or classroom organization.

Upgrade From Standard Weight

The 10.5-point construction replaces lighter folders that tear under frequent handling or heavy loads. The jump is worth it when daily retrieval, high-volume archiving, or long-term storage demands stronger tabs and heavier paper. Three assorted 1/3-cut tab positions provide clear labeling space for quick identification.

100-Count Box Constraints

A single box measures 12 x 9.9 x 3.5 inches and weighs 0.01 ounces per unit, limiting shelf space for bulk storage. The top-tab layout works only with vertical drawer or shelf systems, not lateral files requiring side tabs. Polypropylene finish resists moisture but adds thickness that reduces total capacity in tight drawers.

Questions about this item

Will the 12 x 9.9 x 3.5 inch box fit on a standard letter-size shelf?

The carton measures 12 inches long, 9.9 inches wide and 3.5 inches high, so it occupies roughly one letter-width footprint and clears most 12-inch-deep shelves.

Do the 1/3-cut top tabs arrive pre-scored for hand labeling or printer labels?

Tabs are pre-scored in three staggered positions; fold the chosen tab forward, then write directly or apply a 1/3-cut adhesive label — no printer template required.

How many times can I refill a folder before the 10.5-point stock tears?

Each folder is rated for 20 sheets; replacing contents within that limit lets the reinforced 114# paper survive repeated handling without tearing.
