Silicone handle set for cast iron

This five-piece set includes one main handle grip, two assist handle covers and two serrated scrapers, all made from heat-resistant silicone. The pieces are coloured red and black and are safe for machine washing. They are designed to fit standard cast iron skillet handles and side handles for stovetop or grill use.

Cooks wanting full handle protection

The kit covers both the primary long handle and the smaller helper handles, so it suits anyone who moves hot pans with two hands. Buyers who only need a single grip or who prefer cloth mitts will find the extra pieces unnecessary.

5.63 in main grip length

The primary handle cover measures 5.63 inches long by 2.17 inches wide, a dimension that determines whether it fits your skillet’s main handle. Check your pan’s handle length before buying.

Questions about this item

How often will the silicone grip and covers need replacing under normal grill use?

The set is made from heat-resistant silicone that is machine-wash safe and designed to air dry, so with routine cleaning it should last many grilling seasons without needing replacement.

What is the first limit you hit when using the scrapers continuously on a hot cast-iron pan?

Each serrated scraper measures 8×8×0.2 cm and is built from the same heat-resistant silicone, so the practical limit is the scraper edge wearing down after heavy, repeated use rather than melting or warping.

Do the handle covers get too hot to hold during an all-day cookout?

The silicone material is rated for high temperatures and the textured surface adds grip, so the covers stay cool enough to handle safely even during extended grilling sessions.
