What this camera does

The Petcube Cam CC10US streams 1080p HD video over Wi-Fi and covers a full room with its 110° wide-angle lens. It is designed for owners who want to check on pets or monitor their home from a phone. Two-way audio lets you speak and listen through the device. Smart alerts notify you when sound or motion is detected.

The detail that decides fit

This model requires a Wi-Fi network and a power outlet to operate. It does not record continuously without an optional subscription plan. Buyers who need local storage only or a battery-powered unit should look elsewhere. The camera is sold in open_box condition.

Thermals noise and power

The unit runs from a standard USB power adapter with no fan, so it is silent during normal use. Night vision activates automatically in low light and illuminates up to 30 feet using infrared LEDs. Heat output is minimal and typical for a small indoor IP camera.
