19in 8U desktop rack

The PISKEKAT 2 Post 8U rack holds 19in AV, data, audio or studio gear in a compact open frame. Cold rolled steel construction supports up to 110.2 lb (50 kg) of equipment. It suits home offices, theatre studios or simple network and server deployments.

Check mounting and space

Verify that your devices use standard 19in rack ears and square-hole cage nuts, which are included. Measure the available desk, table or floor area to confirm the rack footprint fits. Ensure the total installed weight stays within the 50 kg limit.

Sustained load behaviour

The all-steel frame maintains rigidity under continuous 50 kg loading without flex. The 360 degree open structure allows unrestricted airflow around equipment during extended operation. Clearly marked U heights simplify reconfiguration when gear changes over time.

Questions about this item

Does the rack ship with mounting hardware or do I need to buy cage nuts separately?

The rack ships with cage nuts and screws for mounting equipment, so no separate hardware purchase is required.

Is the 8U height enough for a typical home-lab stack of patch panel, switch and small server?

Eight rack units provide space for several shallow devices such as a patch panel, network switch and compact server in a home or office setup.

Will the 110.2 lb (50 kg) capacity hold a fully loaded 19-inch rackmount UPS and NAS together?

The 50 kg rating covers the combined weight of mounted gear; verify the UPS and NAS weights stay within that limit before loading.
