22U open-frame server rack

The PISKEKAT 22U 4-post rack provides 22U of 19-inch mounting space for servers, switches and patch panels. Its cold-rolled steel frame with black powder coating supports up to 881 lbs of equipment. Integrated casters allow the assembled rack to be moved across a data centre or office floor. The open design gives technicians unrestricted access to front and rear panels.

Adjustable depth 15.75 to 31.5 inches

The mounting rails slide to any position between 15.75 and 31.5 inches deep, accommodating short switches and deep chassis in the same footprint. This range covers most 19-inch network and server gear without needing extension brackets. Rail positions lock with the supplied bolts so the setting cannot shift under vibration.

Passive airflow and standards compliance

Open sides and top let cool air flow vertically through the equipment without fan assistance, keeping components at ambient temperature in a climate-controlled room. The rack meets CE, DIN 41494, EIA/ECA-310-E and IEC-60297-3-100, confirming hole spacing and load ratings for standard 19-inch hardware.

Questions about this item

What does the 881 lb capacity mean when the rack is fully loaded in a real installation?

The rack is rated to hold up to 881 lbs of equipment distributed across the 22U of mounting space while remaining stable on its casters or levelled feet.

Which mounting standard does the 19 inch frame follow, and what does that limit in practice?

It complies with EIA/ECA-310-E, so any 19 inch rack-mount gear that meets that standard will fit, but the usable depth is capped by the 15.75 to 31.5 inch adjustable range.

How much floor space and clearance does the 39.38 by 23.31 inch footprint need for the casters to roll and the frame to sit level?

Allow at least the 39.38 inch length by 23.31 inch width plus a few inches on each side for caster swing and cable routing; the rack height is 44.02 inches.
