SKU CH-9V8N-FBEZ6

Two omni-directional RP-SMA antennas covering 2.4 GHz and 5.8 GHz bands with 10 dBi gain for routers, PCI-E cards and IP cameras

  • Product typeServer
  • Dual-band 2.4 GHz and 5.8 GHz coverage extends wireless reach
  • 10 dBi gain strengthens signal for routers and adapters
  • Omni-directional pattern radiates evenly without aiming
  • RP-SMA screw-on swivel connector fits most PCIe cards and USB dongles
  • Two antennas included for MIMO or diversity configurations

Dual-band 2.4 / 5.8 GHz server-rack antenna pair

Two omni-directional antennas cover 2400-2500 MHz and 4900-5900 MHz with 10 dBi gain. Each unit uses an RP-SMA male screw-on swivel connector. The pair suits servers, PCI-E cards, USB adapters and IP cameras needing broader wireless coverage.

RP-SMA connector check before ordering

Verify that your router, card or camera exposes an RP-SMA female jack; the supplied plugs are male and will not mate with standard SMA or other thread types. Confirm the device operates on both 2.4 GHz and 5.8 GHz bands to use the full frequency range.

Passive thermal and silent operation

No active cooling or power draw is involved; the antennas add negligible heat to a rack and produce zero noise. Normal use simply requires secure hand-tightening of the swivel bases for optimal signal orientation.

Questions about this item

What comes in the box and do I need any extra cables or adapters?

The package includes two omni-directional antennas with RP-SMA male connectors. No additional cables or adapters are required if your device has matching RP-SMA female ports.

Should I choose these 10 dBi antennas over a lower-gain option for my router?

The 10 dBi gain focuses signal horizontally, which suits long-range coverage on a single floor. Lower-gain antennas spread energy more vertically, better for multi-storey use.

What does the 10 dBi figure mean once the antennas are fitted to my ASUS RT-AC68U?

At 2.4 GHz (2400 - 2500 MHz) and 5.8 GHz (4900 - 5900 MHz) the 10 dBi gain increases horizontal reach compared with the stock antennas, improving range for devices on the same level.
