M6 x 16 mm mounting hardware

Fifty sets of M6 cage nuts and truss-head screws with pre-installed nylon washers arrive in a single plastic can. Each screw measures 16 mm long and carries a zinc chromate finish for corrosion resistance. The kit is built for standard 19 inch rack mounting tasks.

Installers fitting servers or network gear

Suits technicians who need a ready supply of matching screws and clip nuts for square-hole cabinets. Not suited for builds that require imperial threads, longer fasteners or a different head style. Buyers working with round-hole racks should look elsewhere.

M6 thread with 16 mm screw length

The M6 x 16 mm dimension decides whether the hardware fits your rack rails and equipment ears. Verify that your cabinet uses square holes and that 16 mm engagement satisfies the chassis thickness before purchasing.

Questions about this item

What rack or cabinet do I need for these M6 cage nuts to fit?

The cage nuts are designed for standard 19-inch racks and cabinets with square mounting holes.

Can I use these 16 mm screws with thinner rack rails or older tapped-hole cabinets?

The 16 mm length suits typical square-hole rails; for tapped rails you would need a different thread engagement, and thinner rails may not provide enough grip.

How do I confirm the 50 sets are complete and correctly assembled after opening the can?

Count 50 M6 × 16 mm Philips truss-head screws with pre-installed nylon washers and 50 matching cage nuts, all with black zinc chromate plating.
