Tele-Titan Crimp Tool 12507

The Platinum Tools 12507 Tele-Titan is a modular plug crimp tool built for professional data and voice installations. Its patented parallel crimping action delivers straight vertical force that seats every pin to industry-specified heights. The compact, balanced frame nests comfortably in the hand and stays securely closed for storage. Rust-resistant construction supports repeated daily use on job sites.

Built-In Strippers And Cutter

Integrated cable strippers handle both round and flat cables while a built-in cutter removes the need for separate snips. An adjustable blade depth control lets you set the strip precisely for Cat 5e and Cat 6 cables. These combined functions mean you only need scissors alongside the tool to complete a termination job. The safety lock keeps the jaws shut when not in use.

For Technicians Doing Structured Cabling

Installers who terminate standard modular plugs on Cat 5e or Cat 6 will benefit from the parallel action and all-in-one prep features. Buyers who need to crimp AMO or Tyco style plugs should look elsewhere because this tool is not compatible with those plug types. It is also not suited for coaxial compression or fibre-optic termination tasks.

Questions about this item

How long does the rust-resistant safety lock last before it needs replacement?

The safety lock is built into the tool frame and has no separate service interval; it remains functional for the life of the crimper.

What limits how many cables I can crimp in one session?

Hand fatigue is the practical limit because each crimp requires nominal hand force and the tool has no motorised assistance.

Does the tool get hot or make noise when used continuously all day?

No heat or noise is produced during operation because the Tele-Titan 12507 is a fully manual parallel-action crimper with no powered components.
