An all-in-one video conferencing system with a built-in 4x optical zoom camera, dual microphones, 1080p at 30 fps, H.264 and SIP support, plus NoiseBlock audio and Lost Packet Recovery
The Polycom RealPresence Debut is an all-in-one video conferencing system designed for meeting rooms that already have an HD display and a network connection. It integrates a console, camera, microphones and codec into a single device for immediate collaboration.
The system supports PoE, so no separate power supply is required when connected to a compatible switch. A single RJ45 link at 10/100 Mbps carries both data and power, keeping cabling simple and power draw minimal during normal use.
This unit replaces a standalone codec and separate camera when you want a single PoE-powered appliance for an existing HDMI display. The jump is worthwhile when you need H.323 and SIP registration, 1080p30 video and NoiseBlock audio without adding a dedicated power outlet.

Connect the console to the network via the 10/100 Mbps RJ45 port and to an HD display using the included HDMI cable; the step often missed is enabling PoE on the switch so the separate power supply is not required.
The built-in 4x optical zoom camera and dual stereo microphones have no user-serviceable parts; only firmware updates via the USB 2.0 port or network are needed to maintain H.264, H.323 and SIP compatibility.
The 10/100 Mbps network interface caps sustained bandwidth, so packet loss or resolution scaling will occur before the camera or audio processing reaches any internal limit.
