This 1.75mm diameter ABS filament comes on a 1kg recycled cardboard spool. It is made for makers printing functional parts that need impact resistance and heat resistance up to a Vicat softening temperature of 104°C. The material uses a specialty bulk-polymerized resin with lower volatile content than traditional ABS.

Print Temperature and Warping Limits

The recommended nozzle temperature range is 245-265°C with a heated bed at 90-100°C. Print speed should stay between 30-50mm/s. Larger parts are more susceptible to warping on home printers and the odor during printing is stronger than with PLA. For outdoor applications requiring UV resistance, the manufacturer recommends ASA filament instead.

Installation and Common Issues

The filament ships vacuum-sealed with desiccant in a resealable bag to stay moisture-free. Always pass the filament through the fixed spool hole after use to avoid tangling.
