Emergency Weather Radio

The PPLEE PPLEE-1009-Y receives AM, FM, shortwave and NOAA weather bands to keep users informed during severe events. It suits households preparing for emergencies and outdoor enthusiasts who need reliable alerts away from mains power.

Multi-Source Power and Lighting

A 5000 mAh rechargeable battery charges via solar panel, hand crank, Micro-USB input or three AAA cells. The built-in flashlight and reading lamp provide illumination while the USB output can top up a smartphone when grid power is unavailable.

Alert Limits and Band Coverage

NOAA alerts only sound when the radio is tuned to the weather band and a local transmitter is in range. Shortwave reception varies with atmospheric conditions and the telescoping antenna length. The SOS alarm and flashing light rely on remaining battery charge to operate.
