Underground Detectable Tape 6 in x 1000 ft

This non-adhesive warning tape is built for professionals in construction, utilities and mining who need to mark buried electric lines. The 6-inch width and 1000-foot roll length suit large-scale trenching and road-repair projects where clear, long-range identification is required.

Capacity and headroom

The 5-mil reinforced laminate withstands ground pressure and backfill in typical utility trenches. Extreme environments beyond the rated -60F to 250F range or installations that demand adhesive bonding fall outside the design intent.

Build quality and connectors

A 0.8 mil clear polypropylene layer, a 0.35 mil solid aluminum foil core and a 3.75 mil polyethylene outer film create a durable structure that resists tearing during burial. The aluminum core enables detection with non-ferrous locators, while permanent black ink printing on the red surface meets APWA colour standards for buried electric line warnings.
