Aluminium fan cover for 120mm fans
The PrimoChill SX Toxic Candy cover is a CNC-milled aluminium accessory designed to dress up a standard 120mm fan or an empty radiator mount. It adds a coloured accent to custom water-cooling loops without affecting airflow or cooling performance. The cover suits enthusiasts who want a coordinated look across their build. It is not for builders who need active cooling components or fan-speed control.
SpectraX powder coat and 7mm thickness
The cover uses a SpectraX powder-coated finish that aims for consistent colour accuracy over time. At 7mm thick it sits flush against the fan frame while leaving the blades clear. The coating resists fading better than basic anodising, so the Toxic Candy hue stays vivid through repeated handling. No mounting hardware is included in the pack.
Check screw length and clearance before ordering
The manufacturer states that a 30mm screw will mount the cover through the fan into a radiator, but attaching it through a case panel may require longer screws. Verify that your fan frame, radiator thickness and panel depth allow the extra 7mm without fouling cables or adjacent components. The cover fits only 120mm fans; it will not suit other fan sizes or proprietary mounting patterns.

Questions about this item
Will the SpectraX powder coating on the aluminum cover need re-finishing over time?
The SpectraX powder coat is applied for long term colour consistency and does not require re-finishing under normal use.
What limits how tightly the 7 mm thick cover can be secured to a 120 mm fan?
The supplied 30 mm screws set the maximum mounting depth when attaching the cover through the fan to a radiator.
Does the aluminum cover change fan noise or airflow when the system runs all day?
The cover is a passive 7 mm aluminum piece with no moving parts, so it adds no noise or power draw of its own.
