Product identity
This is a CNC-milled aluminium fan cover finished in SpectraX powder-coated True Blue. It fits a standard 120mm fan and adds a 7mm thick decorative layer for custom-loop builders who want a consistent colour match across their radiator stack.
Thermals, noise and power
The cover is a passive aluminium piece with no moving parts, so it adds no fan noise, no power draw and no measurable thermal resistance. Airflow passes through the existing fan unchanged, leaving system temperatures and acoustics exactly as they were before installation.
Included hardware
The package supplies one 120mm aluminium cover; mounting screws are not included. The manufacturer notes that 30mm screws will secure the cover through the fan into a radiator, while case-panel mounting may require longer fasteners sourced separately.

Questions about this item
How do I install the 120mm aluminum fan cover and which screw length is correct for a radiator mount?
Use the supplied 30 mm screws to pass through the fan and into the radiator; if you are mounting through a case panel instead, longer screws will be needed.
What maintenance or replacement will the SpectraX powder-coated aluminum cover need over time?
The coating is designed for long-term colour consistency, so no refinishing is required; simply dust the cover during routine system cleaning.
What is the first limitation that appears under sustained use with the 7 mm thick cover?
The 7 mm thickness adds a fixed spacing between fan and radiator, which can restrict clearance in tight builds and cannot be reduced.
