Add-on CD player for 2019-2026 Honda CR-V

This external single-disc player connects to the factory USB port to restore CD playback in vehicles that no longer include a built-in drive. It draws power from the same port and can be mounted vertically or horizontally on the centre console, in the glove box or wherever the cable reaches. Printed instructions are included for a straightforward setup.

Suits owners who still use physical discs

Drivers who rely solely on streaming, smartphone mirroring or USB media will not need this device. Buyers whose vehicle falls outside the listed model years or lacks an accessible USB port should look for a different audio integration method.

Vehicle-specific USB integration for 2019-2026 CR-V

The player is designed to communicate with the factory radio and steering-wheel controls through the vehicle's USB interface, so compatibility depends on that connection being present and functional. Allow two minutes for the disc to finish indexing during initial installation to avoid setup issues.

Questions about this item

How quickly can I start playing a CD once the player is plugged into my CR-V's USB port?

The unit needs about two minutes to finish indexing the disc before it is ready to use; interrupting that process means starting over with a different CD.

Does the player draw all its power from the car's USB port or does it need a separate supply?

It is powered entirely through the vehicle's USB port, so no extra wiring or power adapter is required.

Where can the CD player be positioned inside the cabin?

The device can be mounted vertically or horizontally on the centre console, in the glove box, or anywhere the USB cable reaches.
