Add a CD player to Tesla Model 3

This Pro Star USB CD player adds disc playback to 2019-2026 Tesla Model 3 vehicles that lack a factory CD drive. It connects through the car's USB port and draws power from the same connection. The unit mounts vertically or horizontally on the centre console, in the glove box or anywhere the cable reaches.

Check USB port and indexing time

Verify that a USB port is free and accessible for the player's cable before ordering. The installation requires roughly two minutes for the CD to finish indexing; interrupting this process means restarting the full setup with a different disc and repeating step one of the printed instructions.

Powered by the vehicle USB port

Because the device is powered entirely from the car's USB port, sustained playback depends on that port's available current rather than an external supply. The plug-and-play design avoids extra wiring, so long listening sessions are limited only by the vehicle's USB power delivery and cable placement.

Questions about this item

Does the Pro Star USB CD Player come with everything needed for installation, or must I buy a separate cable?

The player includes a USB cable that plugs directly into the Tesla Model 3 USB port and printed instructions; no extra wiring, tools or separate cable are required.

How do I choose the correct version of this CD player for my 2019-2026 Tesla Model 3?

A single version covers the entire 2019-2026 Model 3 range; compatibility is not split by sub-model or year within that span.

What does "plug and play" mean once the CD player is connected to my Model 3?

After plugging the USB cable into the car's port, wait about two minutes for the disc to finish indexing, then control playback using the factory radio or steering wheel buttons.
