Pro Star CD Player for Infiniti QX55

This Pro Star USB CD player adds a single-disc drive to the 2019 to 2026 Infiniti QX55. It connects through the vehicle's existing USB port and integrates with CarPlay so you can control playback from the factory radio or steering wheel buttons. The unit mounts vertically or horizontally wherever the cable reaches. No extra wiring or tools are needed for installation.

Check USB port and CarPlay support

Verify that your QX55 has a functional USB port and that CarPlay is active on the infotainment system before ordering. The player draws power from that port, so the port must supply enough current for a CD mechanism. Allow two minutes for the disc to finish indexing after insertion; interrupting the process means restarting the full setup with a different disc.

Sustained playback from USB power

During long drives the device runs continuously on USB power while reading discs and communicating with CarPlay. Performance depends on the vehicle port maintaining a steady current for the motor and laser. If the port cannot sustain that load, playback may pause or the indexing sequence may fail, requiring a fresh start with another disc.
