Add external CD playback to Lexus NX

The Pro Star USB CD player adds a single-disc drive to 2019-2026 Lexus NX models that lack a factory CD player. It connects directly to the vehicle's USB port and integrates with Apple CarPlay so the factory radio or steering-wheel buttons control playback. No additional wiring or tools are required for installation. The unit draws power from the USB connection itself.

Flexible mounting and simple daily use

The compact drive can be mounted vertically or horizontally on the centre console, in the glove box, or anywhere the supplied cable reaches the USB port. Because it uses the car's existing infotainment interface, there are no extra screens or remotes to manage. Allow two minutes for each disc to finish indexing before use; interrupting the process means restarting the setup with a different disc.

Printed manual guides the one-time setup

A printed instruction manual is included to walk through the initial configuration steps. Following the manual ensures the indexing routine completes correctly and avoids repeated restarts. No software downloads, apps or firmware updates are mentioned by the supplier. The package contains only the CD player, its USB cable and the printed instructions.
