Pro Star CarPlay USB CD Player for Ram 2500

This Pro Star unit adds a single-disc CD player to 2019 to 2026 Ram 2500 models that lack a factory deck. It connects through the vehicle's USB port and integrates with Apple CarPlay so the factory radio or steering-wheel buttons control playback. Power is drawn directly from the USB connection with no separate wiring required. The drive can be mounted vertically or horizontally wherever the cable reaches.

Check your vehicle before ordering

Confirm the truck is a 2019 through 2026 Ram 2500 equipped with a functional USB port and Apple CarPlay support. The installation relies entirely on that USB link, so the port must supply data and enough power for the drive. Allow two minutes for each disc to finish indexing before using the controls; interrupting the process means restarting from step one with a different disc. No tools or extra harnesses are needed for the plug-and-play setup.

Suits owners who still use CDs.

Drivers who keep a library of audio CDs and want them playable through the stock infotainment system will benefit from this add-on. Buyers whose vehicles already have a working factory CD player, or who stream all their music and have no discs, gain no advantage from the device. It is also unsuitable for trucks outside the 2019 to 2026 Ram 2500 range or for vehicles without CarPlay-enabled USB ports.
